Jason Jinkins


EDMOND —     Jason Jinkins, 36, of Edmond, Okla., went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 29, 2013. He was born December 19, 1977, in Perryton, Texas, to Spencer and Candy Jinkins.

    Jason was blessed with many gifts and talents. He was a gifted athlete, and a talented craftsman and enjoyed his many projects.

    He loved to go fishing, especially with his children. He enjoyed volunteering at his church and using his talents to help others.

    He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed taking trips to the lake with his family.

    Jason loved to listen to his son Lane play guitar, listening to his music, and watching him perform in numerous plays.

    He loved to watch his daughter Ansley dance and create artwork with her.

    He loved to fish with his son Kaden and enjoyed watching him play baseball.

    Jason enjoyed doing projects with his kids, creating anything they needed or wanted. He was so proud of his children and their accomplishments. He had unconditional love for his wife, kids and family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Spencer Jinkins.

    He is survived by his high school sweetheart, best friend, and wife of 18 years, Amy (Key) Jinkins; children, Lane, Ansley, and Kaden; parents,

Chuck and Candy West and Paul and Vella Key; siblings, Christa Jeffries and husband Jeff, Michael West and wife Amber, Chelsey Jones and husband

Adam, Vanessa Schwarz and husband Ben, and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

    A celebration of Jason’s life was 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, at Quail Springs Church of Christ 14401 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City, Okla.

    Memorial donations may be made to the Jason Jinkins Memorial Fund at any Oklahoma Fidelity Bank location.
