Mary Alice Ramsey

EDMOND —     Mary Alice Ramsey, 73, of Edmond, Okla., passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at her home where she resided with her husband Jim Ramsey. She was born November 9, 1938 in Eufala, Okla., to James Otis and Maggie Leona Joyner.

    Mary graduated from Vamosa High School. She lived in Oklahoma all her life, with the last 38 years in Edmond. She was a homemaker, raised two children and helped Jim with the family business. She loved and enjoyed family, friends, shopping and her jewelry.

    She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.

    Mary is survived by her husband Jim of the home; daughter Thresa Holseko and her husband Steve of Shell Knob, Mo.; son Cary Ramsey of Edmond, three sisters and two brothers that reside in Oklahoma and one sister from Arizona. She also is survived by granddaughter Jessica Holesko of Marietta, Ga., and grandson Joshua Williams and his wife Kendall and their three children of San Clemente, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.

    Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, 601 S Kelly, Edmond, Okla. Those wishing to send flowers may send them to the funeral home.
