Debra Renee Davis

EDMOND —     Debra Renee “Debi” Davis, 55, of Andrews, Texas, formerly of Edmond, Okla., passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at her home in Andrews.

    Debi was born September 25, 1956 in Farmington, N.M. She grew up in Edmond, Okla., and moved to Andrews in 1983 from Midland, Texas. She married William Kenneth Davis in Andrews on November 2, 1983.

    She was a great wife, mother and grandmother and she was mother to many of her children’s friends as well. She was a very accomplished singer and sang on tour for a time.  She loved to clean house and cook and everything had to be “just right”. She was a giver and she loved people and helping them.  She also loved to shop.

    She is survived by her husband, Kenny Davis of Andrews; sons, Coby Moore and his wife Brenda of Andrews; Chisum Moore and his wife Carissa of Midland; Beau Moore and his wife Reesa of Midland; daughter Tabitha Swiniarski and her husband Brian of Midland; her parents Gene and Jerry Ross of Edmond;  brothers Steve Ross of Pensacola, Fla. and Terry Ross of Bentonville, Ark., seven grandchildren: Eden Moore, Cody Beecken, Morgan Beecken, Justin Moore, Connor Moore, Jaxyn Moore,  and Mason Moore.

    Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Andrews.  Eric Clark of Stonegate Church in Midland will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews, Texas.
