Lucille L. Nussbaum

EDMOND — Lucille Nussbaum, 89, of Edmond, Okla., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 6, 2013, after a very brief illness. She was born in St. Paul, Minn.,to Clarence and Elsie Lindgren. After graduating from the University of Minnesota she served in the Navy as a physical therapist at the end of WWII. She was married and had a daughter with Frank Raggio, who passed away after seven years of marriage. Lucille then married Oris Nussbaum and they were blessed with two more children. She was wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family as a homemaker.

In retirement she and Oris served as missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators, including a year in Cameroon, Africa. Lucille will be remembered by her many friends and family all over the world for her love of the Lord and for always giving to and serving others.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Oris Nussbaum; daughters and sons-in-law, Lee Nussbaum and Mick Marshall, and Luann and Randy Juengel; son William Nussbaum; grandchildren Brady Juengel and wife Lisa, Micah Juengel, Noelle Juengel, Danny Marshall and Katie Marshall; her sister Dorothy Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Lucille’s life was 2 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Quail Springs Baptist Church, 14613 N May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73134.
