Forsythe of Edmond, Okla., mother to Larry Forsythe of Edmond, Jeffrey Forsythe of Oklahoma City, grandmother to Dalton and Jennifer Forsythe of Edmond and friend and teacher to many, lost her battle with kidney failure.

Born November 6, 1943 in Guthrie, Okla., Rosie moved to Edmond at age three, residing there until her death. Rosie taught in the Edmond school system for 26 years, touching countless lives. After retiring in 1996, Rosie travelled the world with her husband, children and grandchildren visiting such diverse places as Egypt, Peru, Australia, Russia, and more.  It was also then that Rosie’s love of Bridge blossomed resulting in many fast and lasting friendships and much joy.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21st at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rosie’s name to the Hope Center of Edmond.

    Happy Trails Rosie.
