Ethel Marion Litsch

EDMOND —     Mass of Christian Burial for Ethel Marion (Pearson) Litsch, 82 year old Thomas, Okla. resident will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Thomas with Father Michlicka officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery north of Fay, Okla. under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.

    Marion was born to Per and Ethel (Anderson) Pearson on October 31, 1930 in St. James, Minn. and passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Touchmark in Edmond, Okla.

    Marion was raised in Windom, Minn. and graduated from high school in 1948. She moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where she met and married Donald Litsch on December 16, 1942 in Watonga, Okla.

    Donald and Marion made their home in Corpus Christi. Later they moved to Weatherford, Okla. for a short time before moving to Thomas where they raised their family. Marion worked for Hamar-Keller Insurance for 30 years before retiring in 1994. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, playing bridge, working crossword puzzles, entertaining, and cooking for her family.        She is survived by daughter, Kim Tyson and her husband, Mike of Thomas; two sons, Drew Litsch and his wife Robbie of Edmond, Okla. and Joe Don Litsch and his wife Cheryl of Edmond; six grandchildren: Courtney Tyson, Kiley (Tyson) Donley and her husband Matt, Jacque Litsch, Josh Litsch, Lauren Duel and Brit Litsch; two great-grandchildren, Kayten Donley and Kamryn Donley; brother, Cedric Pearson and his wife, Sally of McAllen, Texas.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Per and Ethel Pearson; husband, Donald; brother, Ted and sister, Susie.

    Memorials may be made to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Thomas, Okla.
