EDMOND —
Vona Lee McCamey Yost, 81, of Edmond, Okla., passed away December 28, 2012 at Colonial Estates in Guthrie, Okla. She was born April 11, 1931 in Coyle, Okla. to Isaac and Eva McCamey. Vona attended school in Coyle where she met her husband Dale. They were married on November 16, 1946 in Wichita, Kan..
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles McCamey.
She is survived by Dale, her devoted husband of 66 years; daughter and son-in-law, Conna and Paul Woolsey; brother, Ronnie McCamey; sisters-in-law, Esther Donathan and Carol McCamey, and several nieces and nephews.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the staffs of Colonial Estates and Companion Hospice for the loving care that they provided Vona.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Edmond.
