BJ Puckett, 36, of Edmond, Okla., went to Heaven on December 29, 2012, at Baptist Hospital. Born on June 6, 1976, BJ was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, always living life with a smile. He was precious to many, and always had a way of making everyone feel special.
BJ married his wife Courtney Karns in 2000, and they resided in Edmond with their two boys, Gage, and Breck.
He was a business owner of John Puckett’s Auto Collision body shop, and prided in the hard work which he and his loyal employees put into the business.
Never meeting a stranger, BJ was loved by all, and will leave a legacy of memories that will forever be cherished.
He is survived by wife Courtney and boys Gage and Breck of Edmond; mother Vicki Puckett of Edmond, brother Johnny Puckett of Edmond, sister Robin
Turnbull and her husband Jayson, and their boys Brady and Garrett of Frisco, Texas; and grandfather Paul McElvany of Edmond.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Edmond.
Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond.
