Evelyn Marie Smedley

EDMOND —     Evelyn Marie (Biggs) Smedley, 87, passed from this earth to her heavenly home on January 12, 2013. She was born on April 2, 1925 in Guthrie, Okla. to Carl and Irene Biggs.

She later worked at Oklahoma Furniture Factory for a time. After working at Oklahoma Furniture Factory, she did babysitting. Upon retirement, she enjoyed making quilts, traveling with her husband, working in her garden, attending one of her club meetings, or just visiting with her neighbors. She could often be found in her kitchen cooking one of her many delicious meals or desserts. She also held weekly family dinners for many years and big holiday dinners at her home. Everyone that stepped foot in her home felt welcome. She had a kind heart and was loved by everyone.
