EDMOND —
Ronald Allen Curtis, 72, passed away December 12, 2012 in Edmond, Okla. He was born April 7, 1940 in Tulsa, Okla. to Allen and Marion (Pitzel) Curtis.
Ron graduated with a Masters degree in Library Science from the University of Oklahoma and worked as the librarian for the University of Central Oklahoma until he retired.
Ron enjoyed reading, listening to old radio tapes, knitting and watching baseball, and followed his favorite team, the Chicago Cubs.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Ron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria Jean Curtis; children, Greg Curtis and wife Mary, Jeff Curtis and wife Alice; brother, William Curtis. Ron was blessed with four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services for Ron will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 17 at Baggerley Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
