EDMOND —     Gloria M. Mitchell, 86, of Edmond, Okla., was born October 4, 1926 in Brinkman, Okla. to Tom and Mildred Mae (Sudduth) Gammill.  She passed away September 15, 2013 in Edmond.

    Gloria  retired owning Mitchell and Associates Advertising Firm. Previously in her working career she had worked in the oil and steel industry as well as the advertising field.

    Gloria was a Pink Lady volunteer at Mercy Health Center and a docent at the Western Heritage Museum.  She loved traveling and was an accomplished china painter.  She made quilts and did stained glass.  But most of all Gloria loved her dogs.

    Gloria is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Norman.

    Her survivors include her son and daughter-in- law, David and Pam Crossno of Arcadia, Okla., granddaughter, Melissa Billingsley and grandson, Thomas Rider Crossno of Purcell, Okla., great-granddaughter, Eden Marie Crossno of Purcell.  She is also survived by her step grandchildren, Jason Bates of North Carolina, Johnna Moore and Jessica Hammer of Dibble, Okla., and her step great-grandchildren, Jia Moore, Genevieve Moore, Jehrylyn Moore, Jacyee Hammer and Owen Bates.

    Graveside services are 11 a.m. Thursday September 19, at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation service.
