Kenneth John Endrizal

EDMOND —     Kenneth John Endrizal, 75, of Edmond, Okla., reluctantly but peacefully died on Saturday, December 14, 2013.

Ken was born February 26, 1938, in Lorain, Ohio, to Steven Endrizal and Anna (Nalepka) Dean and was nurtured in the household of his mother and step-father John Dean.  While in Ohio, Ken graduated from Ohio University and earned his MBA from Western Reserve University. He applied his education and talent to the dry cleaning industry, managing plants and serving as a management consultant for more than 40 years, leading his final meeting earlier this month.

Along with his dedication to work, Ken set aside a special devotion to his love of golf, most of which he played at Kickingbird Golf Club.  While the challenge of the sport itself appealed to him, the friends and relationships that accompanied the game elevated it to a necessity of life for him.

The most important element in Ken’s life, however, was his family, most especially his wife and best friend of 50 years, Elaine Magera Endrizal. They danced to a unique waltz of life, written and choreographed in partnership throughout their years together. Together they raised two daughters, Amy Endrizal and Judith Endrizal Louras.

Survivors include Ken’s wife, Elaine, of Edmond; daughters Amy and her husband, David Seidensticker of St. Louis, Mo., and Judy and her husband, Christopher Louras of Rutland, Vt.; granddaughter, Laurel Seidensticker; grandsons Ian and Augustus Louras and Chris and Justin Louras; Ken’s brothers, Ronald Endrizal of Norris, Tenn. and Thomas Dean of Lorain, Ohio; loving nieces and a nephew; many friends, neighbors, and golfing buddies. While he will forever be missed, his love and kindness will resound through the numerous lives he touched.

A memorial service to celebrate Ken’s life and extraordinarily kind spirit will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 19,  at the First Unitarian Church in Oklahoma City, 600 NW 13 St.
