Stacey Nicole Slaton

EDMOND —     Stacey Nicole (Swyden) Slaton, 42, of Edmond, Okla., went to be with her savior Friday, May 31, 2013 after a yearlong battle with cancer. 

    She is survived by her husband, Greg, and daughters, Alison and Ashtyn of the home; her mother, Karen Hargrove and her husband, Gary; brother, Gavin Swyden; sister, Jill Swyden, and aunt, Pamela Swyden. She is also survived by her in-laws, Lou and Harold Slaton.

    She was preceded in death by her father and both sets of grandparents.

    Stacey leaves a legacy of faith and courage in her death and life for all of us.

    Services were 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at LifeChurch.TV, 178th and Penn, Edmond.  Burial followed in Hinton, Okla.  Matthews Funeral Home of Edmond, is in charge of arrangements.

    The Stacey Slaton Foundation was formed last year with the Bank of Oklahoma to provide help to her family and others with terminal cancer: Stacey Slaton Fund C/O The Bank of Oklahoma, 6517 NW Expressway, OKC, OK 73132.
