EDMOND —
Deborah “Debbie” (Davis) Gragg of Edmond, Okla., passed away October 15, 2012 at the age of 61. Debbie was born to Richard “Dick” Davis and Benni Davis on December 23, 1950. She attended Edmond schools graduating in 1969 and later attended UCO.
In 1970, Debbie married her high school sweetheart Roger Philip “Phil” Gragg. Debbie and Phil made their home in Edmond for many years, later moving to Guthrie, Okla. Their son, Zachary, was the joy of Debbie’s life and she was incredibly proud of Zach and his accomplishments, especially her grandchildren Owen and Gage. She always said her grandchildren were the “lights of her life” and she loved them very much.
Debbie was an accomplished dancer, teacher and baker. She was a breast cancer survivor and was very passionate about breast cancer awareness. She was beautiful inside and out and her faith in the Lord was strong and unwavering. Debbie was known as a social butterfly and always checked in on her friends and family. She had a zest for life, a brilliant smile and her laughter was contagious. Debbie was so many wonderful things, but most importantly she was a loving mother and grandmother. The warmth of Debbie’s heart will be forever felt by her family and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her husband Phil and her parents.
She is survived by son Zachary Gragg and wife Aubry; grandchildren Owen and Gage; sister Rosalie O’Dom; brother Richard Davis and wife Carolyn; sister Joyce Anderson; sister Sherri Harris and husband Randie; father-in-law C. Hubert Gragg and wife Rae; brother-in-law Jonathan Gragg and wife Sandra; sister-in-law Saundra Gragg Naifeh and husband Frank; cousin Charles Pfeiffer; as well as a number of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and so many friends.
A viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034.
Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2012, at First Christian Church, 201 East Second Street, Edmond.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
