Terry Fisher

EDMOND —     Terry Fisher suffered a heart attack Friday afternoon while on-duty and passed away Sunday, Jan 12, 2014. He was a 1988 graduate of Corvallis High School and worked with his brother and father at the family business, Ken Fisher Auto Repair.

    Terry enlisted in the Army as a tank driver and returned to the family business until moving to Edmond in 1990. He married Kristi, January 5, 1991. He worked for years with his mother and father-in-law at W&W Tire in Edmond. Terry joined OCSO as a Reserve in 2002 and went full time May 19, 2009. He received many awards including Bureau Employee of the Year, Life Saving Awards, and Traffic Safety awards.

    Terry had an incredible work ethic and an immense pride in his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping and loved cooking. He took great pride in his work as mechanic and a deputy.

    Terry is survived by wife Kristi; children, Lanie who works in the OCSO records section, Jessi, Jake and Aaron who are all three still in school; mother, Diana; twin brother, Tony; brother, Rick Stimson and sisters, Connie Gabel and Dina Stephens.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth.

    Services for Terry will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Life Church.TV at 2001 NW 178th  and Pennsylvania in Edmond.
