EDMOND —
Charles Edward Allen, 55, of Edmond, Okla., beloved husband, father and brother passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Walker Allen and Carolyn Allen; his twin sons Brandon and Phillip and his aunt Margaret Ann.
Charles graduated from Central State University (UCO) and served four years in the Marine Corps. Captain Allen was a Reservist and was called up for Desert Storm and served in Kuwait. He was currently working for Boeing as a software engineer on the B-1.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia; children Bradley of the home, Christopher of Norman and sister Suzanne of Oklahoma City.
The family thanks Dr. Thomas Showalter for the wonderful care he administered to Charles, and to Dr. Justin Sparks, his primary physician; and also Pastor Clark for his support, prayers and assistance during this very difficult time.
Memorial services were 2 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2012, Coffee Creek Baptist Church, 1650 N.W. 220 St., Edmond, under the direction of Hahn-Cook /Street & Draper funeral Home.
