EDMOND —
Harvey E. “Gene” Kelley 83, of Edmond, Okla., died at home Friday, August 24, 2012 with his family by his side.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years JoAnn Kelley, brother Patrick Kelley, sister Mary Wilson, sons Stephen (Muriel) Kelley, Stanley Kelley, Phillip (Amy) Kelley, daughters Terry (Dean) Snodgrass, Kathleen (David) Hatch, Zelma Schultz, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Gene and his wife JoAnn owned and operated Fiesta Cleaners in Edmond for 39 years. His life is measured by his commitment to God and his family. Gene never met a stranger and looked for adventure in even the most mundane of daily activities. He especially enjoyed spending time with his brothers Pat and Mike while fishing and cheering the Sooners. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 900 South Littler Avenue Edmond, OK 73034.
Services under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond.
