Jerry Mack Kerr

EDMOND —     Funeral services for Jerry Mack Kerr, 76, of Edmond, Okla., will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 24, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond. Graveside services will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, May 23 at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond.

    Mr. Kerr was born March 24, 1937 in Oklahoma City to Oscar Holland and Helen Kerr. He attended the University of Oklahoma and received a business degree in accounting and achieved his CPA January 4, 1961. He was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi and Beta Gamma Sigma.

    Mr. Kerr served our military in the U.S. Army, from 1959 until 1967. He was owner, operator of Kerr Brokerage Co. and a member of the Oklahoma City Food Brokers Association and the National Food Brokers Association. He married Joan Hume Kerr October 9, 1993.

    He was preceded in death by his parents Holland and Helen Crockett Kerr, and his stepmother Virginia Kerr.

    He is survived by his wife Joan Hume Kerr, three children by a previous marriage, Jerry H. Kerr, David Kerr, and Pamela Roberts Kerr, along with her children Caitlin, Austin, Matthew and Nathan Roberts; a stepdaughter Pamela Brady Sprehe and three step-grandchildren Phillip, Eric and Amanda Sprehe.

    Mr. Kerr was a devoted husband and loving father and will be greatly missed.

    Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic School.

    Services entrusted to Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond.
