EDMOND —
Myrtle N. Ketch, 90, was born May 7, 1922 to John and Annie Nite in Marlow, Okla. She died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 in Edmond, Okla., with her family by her side.
If you had to choose a word to describe Myrtle, it would be simple. She enjoyed nice things, but never too fancy. A small town girl, she was down to earth and always enjoyed a good book or sewing. When she wasn’t spending time with her family, Myrtle could be found bowling or mingling with her Red Hat Club.
Myrtle is survived by her husband Paul W. Ketch of Edmond; daughter Susan Brakhage of Edmond; son Paul Ketch II and wife Barbara of Guthrie, Okla., eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Thursday January 3 at Crawford Family Funeral Services, Edmond.
Funeral services celebrating her life were 10 a.m. Friday, January 4 at the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond.
