Linda Hoog

EDMOND — Linda Kay Hoog , 66, was born October 23, 1946 in Enid, Okla., to Aubrey and Georgia Tipton. She died January 29, 2013 in Edmond, Okla., after a long, yet courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was a hairdresser at Stirlings Beauty Salon for more than 35 years, forming deep relationships with her clients of whom she thought of as family. Linda is survived by Gary, her husband of 36 years; Scott Manley and Cara, Sandi Willis and husband Jeff, Darren Hoog, Damon Hoog and wife Jenny, Kristi Musselman and husband Mike, as well as her grandchildren, who cherished her as “Nanny”. She will also be missed by her sisters, Donna Patterson and husband James and Karen Kay and husband Felix.

A come-and-go reception and visitation for Linda will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at Crawford Family Funeral Service in Edmond. In celebration of her life, a graveside service was 9:30 am Saturday, February 2 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond followed by a memorial service held at 11 a.m. at  Henderson Hills Baptist Church.
