Donald LeRoy Kerschner

EDMOND —     Donald LeRoy Kerschner, 80, was born November 16, 1932 on a farm near Horton, Kan., and left this life on August 2, 2013.  He was raised in Arcadia and Ponca City, Okla.

    Donald met the love of his life, Myrna Joan, while dragging Grand in Ponca.  They would soon wed and raise a family in Ponca City, Enid and ultimately Edmond, Okla.

    A devout, lifelong Catholic, Donald and Myrna raised six children. Don loved being a salesman and keeping up with current events.

    Donald is preceded in death by his daughter Dawnella, and granddaughter Candace Kerschner.

    He is survived by his wife, Myrna of the home; daughter Neva (John) Hurst of Cleveland; son Donald J. Kerschner Jr. of Edmond; daughter Angela (David) Ball of Stroud; son David Allen Kerschner of Edmond and son Darrin Kershner of Eagle River, Alaska; nine  grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

    Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Edmond with interment following at Gracelawn Cemetery.

    Services entrusted to Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond.
