EDMOND —
Alice Eulene Rowell, 66, of Edmond, Okla., passed away August 17, 2012. She was born December 16, 1945 in Macomb, Okla. Alice met her would-be husband, Glenn Rowell, when they were both teenagers. They were wed January 18, 1963.
For 20 years, Glenn and Alice ran an embroidery business in Edmond, doing work for many law enforcement agencies, and they developed longtime friendships with their customers.
Alice will be remembered for her willingness to always help others and the love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her brother David Wilkerson.
Alice is survived by her husband of 50 years, Glenn; son Kelly and his wife Beth Rowell; daughter Dawn Lawson and fiancé Andy; mother Juanita Boatright; grandchildren Denisa and Robert Lawson; brothers Larry Wilkerson, Ronald Wilkerson, Jimmy Wilkerson, Cecil Wilkerson and Rick Wilkerson; dear friends Senthilvel, Annitha and Akshaya Muthusamy and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home.
