Jerry L. Treloar

EDMOND —     Jerry L. Treloar, 75, of Edmond, Okla., passed away at his home January 20, 2014.  He was born in Mason City, Iowa and grew up in the farming community of Nora Springs, Iowa.

    He served 26 years in the United States Air Force, with a large portion of his career as a C-141 Flight Engineer, retiring in 1983 at the rank of Master Sergeant.  He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, Disabled American Veterans, and 57th Flying Alumni Association.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Treloar, and mother, Evelyn Treloar Altman.

    Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Deloris; his three daughters, Misty Humphryes and husband Shane of Texas, Robin Manning and husband Eddie of Headrick, Okla., Felicia Kruse and husband Ron of Edmond; five grandsons, Shane Howard, Austin Flores, Kristofer Kruse, Kolby Kruse, Shawn Manning, and great grandchildren. He also is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Moore of Mason City, Iowa, Arlene Dodd of Washburn, Iowa, Joetta Kelley of Evansdale, Iowa; several nephews and nieces; his stepfather, Frank Altman of Cedar Falls, Iowa and his mother-in-Law, Thelma Klemensen

      Services and burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Okla., under the direction of Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.
