Silvia Ayarza Fenton

EDMOND —     Silvia Esperanza Ayarza Fenton, 58, of Edmond, Okla., passed away at home on January 18, 2014.  Survived by her husband of 25 years, Harry Fenton, and sons Harry Fenton III and Shawn Ayarza, Silvia had a love for life and she had a forgiving and loving heart until her illnesses got the best of her.

She was preceded in death by her sister Patti.

Silvia moved to the US from Peru when she was six years old.  She was the first in her family to pass the citizenship test.  She loved the opportunity afforded her here in America.  She appreciated the medical professionals that improved her quality of life.  Silvia was very friendly and outgoing.

She worked at the Oklahoma Depart-ment of Transportation for 11 years before receiving disability retirement in 1991.  She then volunteered at church and the India Temple Shrine Circus when her health allowed.

Silvia always saw the best in others and loved the outdoors and she loved seeing people run and play even when she could not.  She will be missed by all who loved her.

Arrangements by Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Edmond.
