Christine Bolton Wilson

EDMOND —     Christine Bolton Wilson, 68, was born May 30, 1945 in Tulsa, Okla., to William and Virginia Bolton. She died February 2, 2014 in Oklahoma City. Okla.

    Christine’s life painted a great picture of servanthood as she lived out her passion to serve others. This servant lifestyle started at a very young age as she was born the oldest of four children.

    Christy volunteered in many aspects at church; everything from teaching preschool to assisting in ladies events. She, along with her husband, also started a volunteer fire department outside of Keystone Lake after seeing a tremendous need.  She had worked many years as an executive secretary for Northrup Aviation prior to transitioning to Oklahoma.

    She enjoyed the simple things in life such as gardening and housekeeping, but Christy’s true pride and joy was her family, especially her two beautiful grandchildren.

    Christine is survived by her husband of more than 46 years, Robert “Bob” Wilson; son Dru Wilson and wife Misty; grandchildren Avery and Gavin,  and her step-mother, Joyce Bolton. She will also be missed by her two sisters, Debbie Doyle and husband Dave and Jackie Page, as well as her brother Bill Bolton, III.

    A come-and-go visitation and reception honoring Christine will be 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday, February 6 at Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.

    Services celebrating her life will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 7, at Henderson Hills Baptist Church with burial following at Gracelawn Cemetery.
