EDMOND —
Helen Wendling, 86, of Edmond, Okla., passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012. She was born April 16, 1926 in Dunellen, N.J. to Stanley and Salomea Pogorzelski, and lived the majority of her adult life in Bronx, N.Y. Helen moved to Edmond in May 1996.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Wendling, two brothers, a sister and a grandson.
She is survived by her daughter Helene Montgomery and her husband David, of Ardmore, Okla.; son John Wendling and his wife Vicki, of Edmond; daughter Joan Middleton and her husband George, of Edmond, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Okla.
