Eugene Glen Zimmerman, 102, of Edmond, Okla., was born April 26, 1911 in a sod house south of Park, Kan., to Michael and Barbara Bitz Zimmerman. He left this place on June 26, 2013 to join His Heavenly Father, his parents, his siblings, and numerous other relatives.
He was employed by Boeing Aircraft Co. during World War II as a toolmaker. After the war, he was employed as a division manager in the automotive department for Sears until he retired in 1975.
He was married to June Newton 1938-1975, Charlotte Domer 1977-1979, and Doris Dishman 1980-2002.
Eugene is survived by several stepchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, all of which have been very supportive in Gene’s later years.
The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Linwood Village in Cushing, Sterling House on Danforth in Edmond, and Sooner Hospice for the excellent care they provided.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday July 12, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Edmond. Services entrusted to Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond.
