EDMOND —
Michael James Smith, 66, of Edmond, Okla. was born August 11, 1946 in Great Bend, Kan. to Steve and Gwendolyn Smith. He passed away January 25, 2013.
Michael married Donna Saint on August 18, 1967 and they had two children, David and Matthew. He worked for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville as a contract editor and writer.
Michael is survived by his children, David Smith of Atlanta Ga., and Matthew Smith of Midwest City, Okla.; grandson, Tyler Smith of Tomball, Texas; and brother, Gary Saint of Idaho Springs, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, who passed away January 8, 2012.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Edmond.
Selected services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond.
