Evelyn “Irene” Mahan passed away January 25, 2013 in Norman, Okla. at the age of 87. She was born November 14, 1925 in Tulsa, Okla. to Philip and Eva Breslin.
Irene graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa and earned a secretarial degree from the University of Tulsa while working at Citizens State Bank (which became Boulder Bank). Irene was preceded in death by her parents, brother “P.J.,” and her husband and best friend, Gene.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Borden, and her husband, Lee, of Norman; grandson, Patrick Roberts; nieces, Mary and Elizabeth Maggi; and her beloved extended family, Brook and Chris Arbeitman, Will and Jodana Borden, and their children, Knox, Jake and Ellie.
The family is grateful to the loving care she received over the last few months from the skilled nursing staff at Grace Living Center in Norman.
