EDMOND —
Connie Jo Gadd, 76, departed this life on January 31, 2013 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Connie was born on April 2, 1936 at her “Granny’s” house in Cushing, Okla., daughter of James Edward Johnson and Eldean Moore.
She was preceded in death by her father and her son Clarence Jr. (Padie).
Connie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clarence (Clancy) Gadd of the home; her daughter Vickie McAboy of Yukon, Okla., her mother Eldean and her brother Ronnie Johnson and family, all of S.W. Oklahoma City, Okla.; cousins Joyce Dickinson of Grove, Okla., Gary Moore and family of Las Vegas, Nev.; granddaughter Lindsay Ross-Braun and family of Yukon; grandson Chris McAboy and family of Pewaukee, Wis.; former son-in-law Patrick McAboy of Oklahoma City, and a host of friends who will miss her beautiful smiling face, loving nature and hugs.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 at Quail Springs Baptist Church on Monday. Arrangements are by Matthews Funeral Home of Edmond.
The family extends its gratitude to neighbors Sharee and Mary, Autumn Bridge Hospice, Kerry, Amber and others of that wonderful organization.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boys Ranch Town of Edmond, or Quail Springs Baptist Church of Oklahoma City.
