Neil George Douglas Woolley

EDMOND —     Neil George Douglas Woolley went to be with his heavenly father on November 1, 2013 at the age of 51. He was born November 7, 1961 in Phoenix, Ariz.

Neil graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1980. He worked with his father from a very young age, where he developed his skills as one of the best cement finishers. In later years he worked for the State of Oklahoma as well as establishing his own concrete contracting business. His family enjoys remembering the days when he would sit at the kitchen table along with his father talking concrete and life.

Neil’s heart was tender and his hugs and kisses were strong as was his love for his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the lake with loved ones. You never had to question what he was thinking or how he felt about things or you because he was sure to let you know. He will always be remembered as the life of the party.

Neil is survived by his wife of many years Kelli Annette; daughters, Shannon Dawn and son-in-law Rick White (children Destany and Lily White),  Jennifer Gay Woolley (child Kai Ellis), and Babe Kelli Elizabeth Woolley, step-daughter Krissy Annette and son-in-law Chris Garrett (children Chandler Bowker and Bailey Garrett), step-daughter Amanda K. Smith (children Hailey Sadler and Avery, Braxton, and Brenley Guard) step-son Joseph Michael McKenna, step-son Marcus Tyler and daughter-in-law Jessica Smith (child Marcus Smith); sister Jeaneil Ann and brother-in-law Jack Bullock, brother-in-law Kenneth Gonzalez, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who he loved very very much.

Neil is preceded in death by his parents Neil Etna and Barbara Jean Woolley and his sister Memorie Gay Gonzalez.

A celebration of Neil’s life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034 with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond.

For those who wish to make a monetary contribution in lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Bank of Oklahoma in the name of Neil Woolley.
