Deborah Anne Dillberg

EDMOND —     On November 1, 2013, after a long, hard fought battle, Deborah Anne Dillberg, has gone home.

Debbie was born March 23, 1953 in Fort Smith, Ark., but lived the majority of her life in Oklahoma.  In the late 60’s her family settled in Edmond where she attended and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School. In 1975 she married the love of her life at Penn Avenue Methodist Church and within the next four years started a family.  In 1986 she packed up the family and moved from Oklahoma City back to Edmond, where she lived for the next 271/2 years.

In addition to raising her family she worked full time as president of the family owned business.  In 2012 she took her love of cooking and opened her own bakery.  Debbie always gave 110% in every aspect of her life, but no matter what her family always came first.  Her smile always lit up the room and she never met a stranger.  She was selfless and always put the needs of others ahead of her own, never asking for anything in return.  No matter how complicated things got, she never complained and always had a smile on her face.   Whether it was a big family affair or just a small get together, she always  made sure everything was perfect and a good time was had by all.

Debbie was preceded in death by her grand parents Vernon and Anna Stiles and Charles and Alta Coker.

She is survived by her parents, Homer and Vivian Coker, two siblings; her loving husband of 38 years, Ray Dillberg; three children, two step children and nine grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Waterloo Road Church of Christ, 4404 E. Waterloo Road, Edmond, OK. In lieu of  flowers, please make donations in memory of Debbie Dillberg to Hope Financial Assistance Fund, at OU Foundation, Stephens Cancer Center, P.O. Box 26901, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73126.
