EDMOND —
Ronald Charles White, 68, of Guthrie, Okla., passed away March 2, 2013. He was born August 24, 1944, in Stillwater, Okla. to Robert Claude and Marie Esther (Devlin) White.
He married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca Humphry, in 1961. Ron’s family was the most significant personal accomplishment in his life. Anyone who met him experienced his kindness and charity. He retired from Nabisco Inc. after a 30-year career as a marketing representative. He started up his own business as the owner/operator of Basic Lawn Care for the past 10 years. He was most currently residing in Guthrie, but has lived in Okmulgee, Edmond and Del City.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rebecca White; son Chuck White and wife Rita; daughter Chelle Samara and husband Richard; brother Bob White; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 900 S. Littler, Edmond with burial at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.
A Rosary service with vigil and family visitation following will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Baggerley Funeral Home of Edmond.
