EDMOND —     A Love Story… “Your love, God, is my song, and I’ll sing it!  I’m forever telling everyone how faithful you are.  I’ll never quit telling the story of your love” – Psalm 89:1

On Tuesday April 30, 2013, Montana Sue Pickens, 18, of Edmond, Okla., clothed in victory, hopped a train bound for “Glory” and took her rightful place in the choir of Angels singing!

Brimming with quiet grace, timeless elegance and delicate beauty, she was a lady amongst women, pouring out her love willingly, freely, and joyfully to whomever she encountered.

Fulfilling the will of her Heavenly Father, she unselfishly and without question or complaint taught us all exactly what we individually needed to hear when we needed to hear it.

Celebrat-ing her life are her proud parents, John and Lisa Pickens; grandmothers Helen Pickens and Sue Smith;  siblings,  Julie and Doyne Hardaway, Mindi and Kevin Zukowski, Sallie and Eric Miller, John and Marissa Pickens; aunts and uncles, Jeff and Bonnie Pickens, Mike and Dena McNeill, and multiple cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends across the world.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday May 6, at Crossings Community Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to “Cure Search” www.curesearch.com

Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
