EDMOND —
Kathleen Bosibori Sagini, 24, of Edmond, Okla., was born February 10, 1988, in Lansing, Mich., to Meshack and Rachel Sagini. She lost her life on July 26, 2012.
As a child she was warm, friendly, approachable, sensitive, extremely intelligent, and a rationally independent thinker. Those character traits served her well as she developed through her teenage years and became a vibrant young woman. From active church participation to complete academic participation, young Kathy demonstrated that she was wholly invested in the active service to all people.
Kathy was full of life. She had an infectious and memorable smile that brought joy to anyone she encountered. A true leader with a servant’s heart, Kathy had a natural instinct for managing events and caring for people. As a detail-oriented planner, she was excellent at running, building, and orchestrating just about anything. She was definitely a perfectionist in the true sense of the word.
Kathy graduated with honors from Edmond North High School, was admitted to the University of Michigan, then transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma and graduated with honors from the School of Nursing. She was a member of the Honor Society of Nursing: Sigma Theta Tau International – Beta Delta Chapter-at-Large as well as a registered nurse of both the Oklahoma and Texas Boards of Nursing.
She touched the lives of family, friends, colleagues, students, teachers, church and community members.
Kathy is survived by her parents, Meshack and Rachel Sagini; brothers, Paul and Dennis Sagini; and her sister, Eileen Sagini, who will cherish and remember her always.
Services celebrating Kathy’s life were Thursday, August 2 at Central Seventh Day Adventist Church in Oklahoma City under the direction of Crawford Family Funeral Service of Edmond.
