EDMOND —
Beverly L. Fitch, 66, of Edmond, Okla., was born Dec. 22, 1945 in Hobart, Okla., to Laurence and Mary Louise Morgan. She passed away on July 11, 2012 in Edmond.
Beverly grew up in Lawton and graduated from Northeast High School in Oklahoma City, Okla. She attended Central State University in Edmond and retired from Southwestern Bell. She was a very dedicated and loving mother and her pride and joy were her grandchildren. Beverly also worked at Boulevard Wedding Chapel for several years until her health prevented it.
The family thanks the nurses and staff at Bradford Village for the special care they gave to Beverly. She surprised everyone with her strength and courage throughout her long battle with cancer.
Beverly is survived by sons, Jon and his wife Amy Fitch, and Brian Fitch, all of Edmond; grandchildren, Maycee, Isabella, Jack and Sam; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Gene Sparks of Oklahoma City; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Gene Morgan of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Jerry and Sybil Morgan of Oklahoma City.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday July 14, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond.
