EDMOND —     Janet Angele Verdun Lowe, 79, the loving wife of Robert Obe Lowe, Sr. for 46 years, died July 5, 2013 of cancer in Edmond, Okla.

    Mrs. Lowe was born March 8, 1934 in Raceland, La. and lived in Edmond, Okla. for the past 6 years.  Prior to that, Mrs. Lowe was a resident of St. Tammany Parish, La. for over 40 years.  She was a graduate of Metairie High School and Charity Hospital School of Nursing.

    Survivors include her five children: Richard Ivon Lowe of Louisville, Kent., Donna Kay Lowe Van Horn of Edmond, Robert Obe Lowe, Jr. of Covington, La., James Patrick Lowe of Chesapeake, Va. and Janie Lynn Lowe McNabb of Piedmont, Okla. Her eight grandchildren: Michael Allen Van Horn, Jennifer Lynn Van Horn, Robert Edward Fischer, Daniel James Lowe, Phillip Duffy Lowe, Madelyn Nancy Lowe, Victoria Lee McNabb and William Robert McNabb.

    Visitation will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013.

    A memorial service will be noon Saturday, July 13 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, La.  

Burial will be Sunday, July 14 in Minden, La.
