Robert D. McGaugh, 56, of Edmond, Okla., passed away April 18, 2013. “Rob” was born October 19, 1956 to Wilma “Adams” McGaugh and Lendon McGaugh at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
The youngest child in a military family, Rob spent his childhood living in many different places around the world. He graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1975 and began building what would become a lifelong career in the automotive business. Rob served 36 years in the automotive industry, with the last 22 years as a service advisor at Bob Moore Cadillac in Edmond. He received many certifications, awards, and recognitions during his career.
Rob was an outdoor enthusiast (hunting, boating, and camping), loved entertaining and hosting BBQ’s, watching sports, going to the casino, and the company he shared with his weekend breakfast club. He loved both his family and friends, as they were most important to him. Rob is loved dearly and will be greatly missed by everyone!
He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his best friend and lifelong companion, Paula McGaugh; three children, Angel, Misty, and Brian; brother, Michael McGaugh; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, 1820 S. Douglas Blvd. Midwest City, OK 73130, with graveside services following at Kolb Cemetery in Spencer, Okla.
