EDMOND —
Norma Jean Snedeker, 77, of Oklahoma City, Okla., passed away June 24, 2012. She was born July 28, 1934 in Dale, Okla., to J. L. and Wrenda Vinison, and lived in Oklahoma most of her life.
She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She never met a stranger and always had a kind word for everyone. In her spare time she enjoyed reading the Bible, tending to her flowers and tomatoes and doing puzzles.
Norma was preceeded in death by her mother and father, and her loving husband of 44 years, Earl M. Snedeker.
She is survived by daughter Teresa McElroy Meeker and Buddy McElroy of Shawnee, Okla.; daughter and son-in-law, Wrenda and Jerry Cockrell of Edmond, son Earl M. Snedeker Jr. and Gina Loper of Oklahoma City; five grandsons, Buddy McElroy and Alicia Standlee, Brandon Fowler, James Cockrell and Katie Raasch, Shawn Cockrell and Tyler Snedeker; granddaughter Jeannie Statton and husband Dustin Statton; four great-grandchildren, Randall McElroy, Devin McElroy, Jacob McElroy, Gracelyn Cockrell and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in her home at 6805 NW 136th Ct., Oklahoma City, OK. All are welcome.
