Sydney D’Ann Couch

EDMOND —     Sydney D’Ann Couch, 62, of Edmond, Okla., formerly of Amarillo, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014.

    A funeral service will be 10 a.m, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Edmond’s First Baptist Church with Pastor Blake Gideon officiating. Services are under the direction of Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.

    The oldest of two daughters, Sydney was born April 3, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas to H.D. and Sue Satterfield.  She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1970. She married Cris Couch on June 28, 1986. Besides her family and friends, she had a love for singing. One of Sydney’s greatest joys was stamping and making cards for all of her friends and family members for every special occasion. She loved, honored, and served the Lord for many years as a member of the First Baptist Church of Edmond Choir and the Singing Church Women of Oklahoma. Sydney was employed by OU Medical Center of Edmond as a clinical documentation improvement specialist at the time of her death.

    Survivors include her husband Cris Couch of Edmond; daughter and son-in-law Kacy and A.J. Himes of Edmond; mother Sue Satterfield of Fritch, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Tom Simms and their family; mother-in-law Lila Couch; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Debbie and Don Burrows and Brenda and Bruce Honore’.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Church Under the Bridge, 213 West 7th, Edmond OK, 73003.
