Graveside services for Jessie Lena Wrinkle, 101, of Camdenton, Mo., formerly of Edmond will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Floral Haven Cemetery in Tulsa.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Mo.

Wrinkle was born March 2, 1907, in Taney County near Branson, Mo. She died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, in Osage Beach, Mo.

Wrinkle attended Draughon’s Business College in Oklahoma City. Upon completion of her degree in business, she worked for an insurance and real estate company in Muskogee. She also managed insurance and real estate companies in the Tulsa and Pryor areas. She is a charter member of the National Insurance Women’s Association where she served as vice-president of the Tulsa Chapter and was editor o the “Airwaves” publication for the organization.

She was a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where she was a member of the choir and was the first woman elder elected in the First Christian Church in Pryor. She was also chairman of the Christian Women’s Fellowship of Oklahoma “Green County” where she served for two years.

Wrinkle moved to Edmond in 1986 and in 2005 she moved to Camdenton, Mo. She was a member of the Community Christian Church in Camdenton. At age 100 she was chosen Senior Dogwood Festival Queen for Camden County and rode on a float in the annual parade. In June 2007, she was chosen Region 7 Queen for the Missouri State Nursing Home Association and participated in the State Finals in Jefferson City, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milan A. Wrinkle; three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include two step-daughters.
