J.C. “James” Ruttman, 93, of Midwest City, Okla. was born August 7, 1919 and passed away July 19, 2013.
J.C. worked for Transcon Freight Lines, putting many miles on the road over his 28 years. He enjoyed farming and spending time outdoors and loved old western movies; especially John Wayne films. He also loved spending time with his family and friends; serving as a mentor for Stephen Ross.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, a daughter, son and grandson. He is
survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie Ruttman; daughter-in-laws Judy Ruttman and Jo Ross; sister-in-law Betty Cochran; his grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for J.C. were 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at Matthews Funeral Home. Interment followed at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, Okla.
