Betty Jo Ethridge

Funeral services for Betty Jo Ethridge, 87, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Edmond, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery Historical Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home.
Ethridge was born March 26, 1922, in Woodland, Texas. She died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, in Oklahoma City.
Ethridge moved to Edmond with her family when she was 7 years old. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Edmond. She was an assistant city clerk for the City of Edmond for 15 years, and later worked for Edmond Regional Hospital for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nanny and Ona Fleming; two brothers, Francis “Dutch” Fleming and Charles Fleming; and one sister, Mary Dell Watkins.
Survivors include her two daughters, Suzanne Fitzpatrick and Mona Kay Nomura; her sister, Myra Moore; her brother, Ona Moore Fleming; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
