Mary Lucille “Hester” Kelcy
1920-2009
Funeral services for Mary Lucille “Hester” Kelcy, 89, formerly of Edmond, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Road Church of Christ. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Kelcy was born June 20, 1920, in Bryson, Texas. She died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, in Oklahoma City.
Kelcy was a pastor’s wife, a member of the Oklahoma Christian Women’s Association and the Memorial Road Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Raymond Kelcy, former chairman of the Bible Department at Oklahoma Christian University; and her parents, Jon Other Hester and Clara Irene (Birdwell) Hester.
Survivors include her two sons, Gary Kelcy of Bryson, Texas, and Roger Kelcy of Oklahoma City; and her sister, Lois Barker of Bryson, Texas.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Christian University.
