Bernie L. Stilwell
1926-2009
Graveside services for Bernie Leon Stilwell, 83, of Edmond, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home.
Stilwell was born Feb. 13, 1926, in Gainesville, Texas. He died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, in Oklahoma City.
Stilwell was a a F.A.A. test pilot and worked in construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Rosalee Stilwell and his siblings, Gene, Alice and Joyce.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine Stilwell; Margaret Dunn, to whom he was married for 19 years; his children, Dana Stilwell and Roger Stilwell; two stepsons, Larry Dunnam and Gary Dunnam; his sisters, Judy Oxyer and Dorothy Woller; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
