Graveside services for Bobby Westbrook, 76, of Edmond, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Poarch Cemetery in Elk City.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.

Westbrook was born April 15, 1933, at Stafford, Texas. He died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in Edmond.

Westbrook served his country in the U.S. Army. He lived in Liberal, Kan., and Roswell, N.M., before moving to Edmond in 1969. He was a police officer for 12 years and then became a computer programmer and systems analyst, retiring in 1995.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Irene (Pointer) Westbrook

Survivors include his wife, Ester LoReta Westbrook; his son, Rick Westbrook of Madrid, N.M., and a sister, Cynthia Holt.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Westbrook’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. An online registry is available at www.martinfhok.com.
