EDMOND —     Mrs. Khan Khela Majid, passed away June 1, 2013.  Mrs. Majid was a dedicated medical professional, loving mother and wife.

She was the strength of her family and her community.  Her kindness and generous nature propelled her to share her religious testimony bravely at home and throughout the world.  Even until her last days, she prayed with her friends, family and fellow residents to comfort and console them.  Her radiance, expressed through her smile, confirmed the love she had for life and all people.

Our beautiful mother will be remembered for teaching us all the love of nature, integrity, the strength to believe in our highest potential, and the unconditional love to help others in their times of need.  She embraced the love of God and taught each of us to build our personal and intimate relations with God.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Abdul Majid.
