Kenneth M. Rasnick

EDMOND — Ken M. Rasnick, 75, was born in Omaha, Neb. on September 2, 1937 to Paul and Ida Rasnick. Ken lived a full and impressive life. He proudly served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and rose to the rank of Chief Master Sargeant. In his years of service, Ken was in Vietnam and Turkey twice; Spain, California and Alaska, which he so dearly loved. Upon his retirement in 9184, Ken went to work for Honeywell and was an energy engineer. The company sent him to New Orleans where he and his wife Janet met wonderful friends and enjoyed the “greatest food in the world.” They later moved back to Oklahoma and settled in Edmond. Ken and Janet recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on January 1st.

He loved his OU Sooners, the former OKC Blazers, darts, bowling and fishing. He was a loving son, brother and father.

Ken is preceded in death by his father, mother and daughter Carla.

He leaves behind his wife Janet; son Ken J. and wife Claudia; son Daniel; son Jeff and wife Michelle; daughter Lori; daughter Tiffany and husband Doug; granddaughter Ellie; brother Vince and wife Beanie; nieces, nephews and many numerous friends; and his beloved dogs, Winston and Bentley.

Services to celebrate Ken’s life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.
