EDMOND —
Sue Ann Doolittle Henley, 71, was born July 22, 1941, in Galveston, Texas. She died at her home in Edmond, Okla., on October 20, 2012 with her family at her side. She had fought cancer for seven years.
Sue was retired from the bill processing department of the State of Oklahoma House of Representatives. She held a baccalaureate degree from the University of Oklahoma and a masters degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. She was recently honored on her golden anniversary as a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Sue was active in her church and community. She worked tirelessly to improve the lives of others through church social outreach programs, seven international mission trips, and she was an active and dedicated tutor for Whiz Kids.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Henley, who she married on February 22, 1964; her daughter and son-in-law, Regan and John Schraad; her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Rob Breitenstein; five grandchildren: Clayton, Michael, Brian, Kendall, and Carson; her brother Thomas Doolittle; her niece and nephew, Kim Sabanayagam and Brad Doolittle; and many cousins.
She will be missed by her family and numerous friends as well as those who benefited from her community service.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church of Edmond.
The family suggests donations in memory of Sue Ann Henley be made to the First United Methodist Church of Edmond, Free to Live, and Whiz Kids.

She attended schools in Topeka, Kan., and graduated from Topeka High School in 1953. She married Fred Schulz at Euclid Methodist Church in Topeka on October 14, 1956.
