EDMOND —
Robert Lee Carley, 76, of Edmond, Okla., was received into Heaven on October 22, 2012. He was born June 11, 1936 to Paul and Dorothy Carley in Hammond, Ind.
Robert was a family man devoted to his wife and five children. He loved basketball, fishing and playing the drums. He worked for years in the moving business.
Robert was preceded in death by his two sons, Robert (Robbie) Carley and Terry Carley. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Miriam; three daughters: Denise Hodge and husband Rick of Edmond, Cheryl Carley of Edmond, and Sandra Monasmith and husband Tony of Loudon, Tenn. He also leaves behind a sister, Paulette Sargent, of
Niles, Mich.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and other extended family members.
Services celebrating Robert’s life will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Crawford Family Funeral Service, 610 NW 178th Street, Edmond. To make online condolences visit www.crawfordcares.com.
